7. Gautam Buddha was born in the forests of Kapilvastu in 477 BC. It is said that Lord Buddha had appeared in Gaya, Bihar about 5 thousand years ago.
8. According to Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran and Shrinarsimha Puran, Lord Buddha came to this earth about 5 thousand years ago. Whereas according to senior German scholar Max Muller, Gautam Buddha came 2491 years ago. That means Gautam Buddha and Lord Buddha are different.

In that book, 10 names of Lord Buddha and 5 synonyms of Gautam Buddha were written in the same order, which became an important reason for the confusion of considering Gautam Buddha and Lord Buddha as one and the same.

The Gotra of both Lord Buddha and Gautam Buddha was 'Gautam', which was the main reason for considering both of them as one. In Agnipuran, Lord Buddha has been called Lambakarna, which means one with long ears. After this, tall statues of Lord Buddha started being made.
